Cold conditions prevail in Punjab and Haryana

In Haryana, Ambala recorded a low of 5.1 degrees Celsius, one below normal, while Hisar's low of 5.6 deg C settled within the normal range.

Karnal experienced a cold night at 4 deg C, down three notches, while Narnaul and Bhiwani recorded respective minimums of 6.2 deg C and 5.2 deg C.

Amritsar in Punjab braved the chill at 2.4 deg C minimum, two below normal.

Ludhiana registered a low of 6.2 deg C, down one degree while Patiala's minimum settled at 6.6 deg C.

Chandigarh recorded a low of 5.7 deg C, the MeT said here.
