Colgate Palmolive announces interim dividend of Rs 8 per share

Colgate Palmolive (India) Ltd today announced an interim dividend of Rs 8 per share of face value Re 1 each for the financial year 2014-15.
The board of directors of the company at its meting held today approved the proposal.
"The dividend payout to the shareholders will be Rs 127.3 crore (inclusive of the dividend distribution tax of Rs 18.5 crore) and will be paid on October 16, 2014 to those shareholders whose names are on the Register of Members of the Company as on September 30, 2014," Colgate Palmolive (India) said in a statement.

The e-commerce site said the Experience Zone is a social, customisable and interactive platform that will serve the needs to all interested users from beginner to intermediate to pro, all the while helping them achieve their objectives in pursuing the activity.

The speakers and power banks are available on Amazon.In, Flipkart.Com, Snapdeal.Com and Portronics.Com starting with a price of Rs 1399, the company said in a statement.
"The collection consists of innovative products that are high on quality and that will enhance your day-to-day functionality and productivity," the statement added.

Tata Docomo hosts event based on theme of connected homes * Tata Docomo, the unified telecom brand of Tata Teleservices, today hosted an experiential event based on the theme of connected homes in Bangalore.
"The intent of technology has always been to simplify and enhance our quality of life - in this case enabling 'My time, my space, my need; anytime and anywhere'," Tata Teleservices Head (Enterprise) Prateek Pashine said.
He added one such evolution is the concept of connected homes, which is led by the rise of connected lifestyles and is gradually etching towards becoming a reality.
"The vision of the 'Homes of the Future' have often presented scenarios, in which almost every household device is connected and automated to make life easier for people," he added.
