Collection agent looted at gunpoint in Ghaziabad

A collection agent working for a Noida-based telecom company was allegedly robbed of Rs 2 lakh at gunpoint by two motorcycle-borne miscreants today, police said.
The incident occurred at around 4:30 pm when the victim, Pramod Kumar, had come to Maharajpur area here for collection of money, police said.
According to the victim, two motorcycle-borne youths hit his vehicle from behind and snatched his shoulder-bag containing cash worth Rs 1.5 lakh and recharge coupons worth Rs 50,000 on gunpoint, police said.
When he resisted, he was thrashed by robbers, police said, adding that a probe was on in the case.
