College student held for sexually assaulting minor girl
A college student has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a five-year-old girl at a village near Porayar in the district, police said Saturday.
The 19-year-old polytechnic college student was booked underthe Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, they said.
He was taken into custody based on a complaint from the victim's mother, they said.
