Vidyut took to Twitter to announce the release date of the film, which is a sequel to 2013 movie.
"#Commando2 releasing on 6th January 2017," the 35-year-old actor tweeted.
The movie stars actress Adah Sharma as the female lead.
In the espionage thriller Vidyut is on a mission to trace black money which has been siphoned to banks abroad.
