Committee to probe sexual harassment cases in GNDU

A committee to probe sexual harassment cases in its campuses across the state has been constituted by Guru Nanak Dev University.
The committee will handle complaints of sexual harassment by students in the university campus, regional campuses, and constituent colleges, GNDU Registrar Sharanjit Singh Dhillon said.
Gurpreet Bal of Sociology Department would be the presiding officer-cum-convener of the committee at the university campus in Amritsar while social worker Parminder Kaur Berri will be the presiding officer-cum-convener at Jalandhar campus.
Among others who will be conveners at regional campuses are Sukhleen Bindra Fattu Dhinga at Sultanpur Lodhi, Anu Sheetal at Gurdaspur, and Manjit Kaur at Sathiala (Baba Bakala).
