CommMin seeks inputs for tagline, logo for Hannover Messe fair

The Commerce and industry today sought creative inputs for theme elements, tagline and a logo for India's participation at Hannover Messe, an engineering sector fair, scheduled to be held from April 13-17 next year.
Hannover Messe is the largest engineering exhibition held each year and India has been declared as the partner country for 2015 fair, an official statement said.
Hannover Messe 2015 will be jointly inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, it said.
"The Partner Country status offers India an opportunity to position itself in the global business world." it said adding over 300 engineering, manufacturing and technology companies from India will be participating at the fair.
The partner country is especially given an opportunity to project itself through a central theme pavilion.
The commerce department has sought views and perspective on "what elements and aspects of India should be highlighted in the theme pavilion. The size of the pavilion is 1,100 sq m," it said.
It said the tagline should be precise and relevant to the theme in no more than 4-5 words and the logo should representing India's engineering prowess at the event.
The winner would be awarded a cash prize of Rs 25,000, the top five shortlisted entries will be given a cash prize of Rs 5,000 and the last date for submission is November 6.
