Condition of roads in Jalpaiguri district very bad: CPI(M)

The condition of all the major roads in the district was in very bad shape and the state government was not taking any steps to repair the roads, Banerjee alleged at a press conference here in the party office.

He also alleged that the Jalpaiguri Sadar Hospital was not providing saline or medicine to the patients and most of the equipments of the hospital are lying defunct.

Banerjee said they would announce an agitational programme on October 5.
