Conference on endrocrinology and metabolic diseases

Experts from India and Abroad will discuss and share recent happenings in a two-day International Conference of Endrocrinology and Metabolic Diseases, beginning here from January 25.
The conference will bring together International and National Authorities in the field to discuss recent happenings in the field of diabetes mellitus, which is on the rise in India and also endocrine disorders, Dr Nalla G Palanisamy, Chairman, Kovai Medical Center and Hospital (KMCH), the organisors, told reporters here today.
Dr Ian Campbell from United Kingdom, considered to be a authority in gestational diabetes, will deliver lecture on the updates and newer treatment option for Type 2 diabetes, he said.

Similarly, James Ahlquist, also of UK, will talk on Pituatory problems and high blood pressure caused by the disease of adrenal glands, Palanisami said.
About 500 delegates are expected to attend the conference.
