Conference on hip replacement to be held on July nine

A one-day national meet on 'current trends in hip and knee joint replacement', to be held here on July nine, will discuss various challenges and solutions emerging in the sector.
With joint replacement getting common among the elderly and also the youth, most of the time because of disabling osteoarthiritis of hips and the knee joints, the conference will be an ideal platform for the beginners and experienced surgeons to share their knowledge and expertise,
About 200 delegates from across the country are expected to participate in the conference, Dr Rex, chief surgeon of Rex Ortho Hospital, the organisers, told reporters here today.

The conference is being organised under the auspices of Indian Orthopaedic Association and Tamil Nadu Orthopaedic Association.
