Cong a stumbling block in Punjab's progress: Badal

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today alleged Congress has always acted as a "stumbling block" in the way of development and prosperity.
Rather than making any tangible contribution towards the state's development, Congress had always resorted to cheap political gimmicks to score brownie points just to sustain its existence in the media, Badal told reporters on the sidelines of first day of Sangat Darshan programme in Giddarbaha Assembly Constituency.
Terming Congress as the "No 1 enemy of the state", the SAD leader accused the party of indulging in hooliganism and raising frivolous issue.
