Several activists of Jammu and Kashmir Youth Congress today held a protest here against the state government and the Centre, alleging that both the Central and Mufti Sayeed governments have been supporting anti-national forces in the state.
"The NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP-supported coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir have been supporting and promoting anti-national forces in the state," president, J-K Youth Congress, Pranav Shagotra said.
The protestors who were raising slogans against the governments also burnt an effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"When Congress was in power, all the terrorists and other anti-national forces were behind the bars, but ever since BJP has joined hands with PDP to form government in Jammu, the anti-national forces are having a field day," Shagotra claimed.
The Youth Congress said it strongly condemns the incident of waving of Pakistani flags and raising anti-India and Pro Pakistani slogans during a rally in Srinagar.
"Strong action must be taken against the separatists for waving the Pakistani flag," Shagotra said.
The activists of NSUI also held a protest in Jammu against the waving of Pakistani flags and raising of anti-India slogans in Srinagar.
Meanwhile, the activists of Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party held a protest outside the Raj Bhawan in Jammu demanding rehabilitation of the Talwara and Jammu migrants.
"We are not demanding much, but the militancy-victims living in Talwara and the migrants of Jammu region must be rehabilitated by the state government as these people continue to be ignored by the successive state governments," Anita Thakur, general secretary, JKNPP, said.
