Congress today demanded a CBI probe into the death of 12 labourers following the collapse of a wall of a stone crusher in Mahendragarh district of Haryana last week.
AICC General Secretary Shakeel Ahmed, Haryana PCC Chief Ashok Tanwar and Haryan CLP leader Kiran Chowdhary made the demand at a joint press conference.
They demanded that an FIR should be filed against the local BJP MP and two BJP MLAs who are allegedly involved in these illegal activities of stone crushers as most of the crushers in operation are not legal.
They alleged that there is pressure on the victims who were injured in the mishap or whose kith and kin died to take meagre compensation.
