Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh said the party fully supports the "just cause" of Kapu reservation and stands by the resolutions made by the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee on the issue.
"The AICC fully supports the just cause for Kapu reservation to BC and stands by the resolutions made by the APCC at Vijayawada for the cause.
"The TDP government must honour their commitment made in the manifesto and accelerate the reservation process. We also demand that the Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham and others arrested be released immediately," said Singh in a statement.
