Cong dismisses book's claim about Sonia's desire to retire in

Congress today sought to dismiss the claims in a book that Sonia Gandhi wants to retire from politics when she turns 70 in 2016.
"I have no idea . I have not read the report...... Gandhi has been a very effective and a farsighted leader. Nobody's prediction we have seen", party spokesman P C Chacko told reporters.
He was asked about the claim in a book "24 Akbar Road" that the party has been rattled by Sonia's desire to retire in 2016 and this is what has prompted the party to give a 'bigger role' to her son Rahul Gandhi. PTI SPG
