Cong doesn't want to see country's progress: Naidu

Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu today attacked the Congress saying it was "obstructing" passage of important bills in the Parliament as the party did not want to see "progress" of the country.
The Congress party doesn't want to see any progress to take place in the country, so they were creating ruckus in the Parliament and obstructing passage of important bills which were must for the nation's progress, the Union Urban Development Minister said.
The Congress party which ruled the country for the longest period from 1947 till 2014, had for the benefits of corporates acquired nearly 10 lakh hectares of land (under the British Act) and now they are making charges that BJP works for corporates and was acquiring land for their benefits, said Naidu.

He also said, "Now BJP will soon expose them on this entire matter, how they have been only fooling the farmers of the country."
"Our government is committed for the upliftments of agrarian community in the country and the Land Bill which NDA government was trying to pass was completely pro-farmer," he said.
Even GST is an important bill which needs to be passed for the country's speedy growth but Congress doesn't want it to get passed in the parliament so that the nation may not progress further, he alleged.

The Union Urban development Minister Venkaiah Naidu today inaugurated the 'Sanitation and Water Purification Facilities' at governments Girls Inter College in here under "Swachh-Bharat, Swachh Vidyalaya National Campaign".
While addressing students on the occasion, the Minister appealed to the Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and the UP government to carry out development works in the state for which the Centre was committed to extend all kind of possible help.
