The leader of the Congress in the BJP-led North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) had recently won the Sarai Pipal Thala ward during the civic bypoll.
"He is down with swine flu. He is recuperating at his home but kept isolated. He is stable and recovering," the official said.
Incidentally, the during the House proceedings of the NDMC today, the cases of swine flu reported in its area were discussed.
"Three deaths have taken place this year since January at NDMC hospitals -- one at the Hindu Rao Hospital and two at Kasturba Hosital," according to the NDMC.
