"Congress Legislature Party...we are thinking of moving a no-confidence motion against the government as its continuance is not in the interest of Telangana's farming community," state Congress president and MLA N Uttam Kumar Reddy told reporters.
The government disappointed farmers who hoped that relief would be provided on the interest burden as the farm loan waiver was implemented in instalments instead of doing it at one go, he said.
"Farmers waited if the government would make any announcement on interest burden following the farm loan waiver. They waited if the government would give any additional bonus on MSP... There is no answer from the government," Reddy said.
