Cong seeks debate on AP re-organisation act in Telangana

Deputy Leader of Congress in Telangana Legislative Council P Sudhakar Reddy Tuesday urged Chairman K Swmy Goud to allow a debate during the coming session on the assurances made to the state in the Andhra Pradesh Re-organisation Act.

The council is set to meet for a session from September 27.

In a letter to Goud, Reddy alleged that the Centre did not implement the assurances and urged that a resolution be passed on the issue by the council.
