Mistry held a review meeting to discuss Congress's poor show in the state in the recently held Lok Sabha elections.
"I have been made party state incharge ten months before the Lok Sabha polls but I take responsibility for party's poor performance," Mistry told reporters here.
When asked on the possibility of change in the state unit, Mistry said, "Obviously, there will be changes in the state organisation. I will recommend to Sonia Gandhi to dissolve the state unit."
In reply to a question, Mistry said that no proposal came before him to bring Priyanka Gandhi in active politics.
Congress had managed to win only two out of the 80 Lok Sabha seats in the state. Both the seats were won by Sonia Gandhi (Rae Bareli) and Rahul Gandhi (Amethi).
