"I have been saying all along that Congress would win these (Assembly) elections and there is no change in my stand," Ajay told PTI here.
The leader said there were several factors behind his confidence about a Congress win in the polls, held in the state on November 25.
Despite tall claims made by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan about development being undertaken during the 10 years of BJP rule, the condition of the state has worsened in all spheres, he claimed.
The state government is yet to give permission to the Lokayukta for taking action against ministers who have been charged with corruption, he said.
The counting of votes for the state Assembly elections will be held on December 8.
While Congress has expressed confidence of a win, the state BJP-led government is also eying a hat-trick in the Assembly polls.
