Incidentally, the Gujarat state government also released a similar booklet called 'Career Guidance Booklet' today, with information about all available courses after 10th and 12th standards.
On the occasion, Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) president Arjun Modhwadia also asked the BJP-led Gujarat government to ban the donation system in the state's schools and colleges.
"This is the ninth year that we are releasing the book 'What Next after 12th'. This is not political activity. We do this every year to provide accurate information to all students about available courses and colleges after 12th standard. This book is distributed free through all our district offices in Gujarat," Modhwadia said.
He was accompanied by former GPCC president Siddharth Patel, Gujarat assembly opposition leader Shankersinh Vaghela and GPCC spokesperson Manish Doshi, who has been preparing the career guide for the last nine years.
Releasing a similar booklet called 'Career Guidance Booklet', here today, Gujarat Chief Minister Anandi Patel said that it would prove beneficial for students, since it contains all information about higher education, self employment and other career options.
