"CBI means Congress Bureau of Investigation...As it is working under pressure of Congress government," he alleged while addressing reporters at Chiplun city in the district.
The government is misusing CBI for various political issues. It tried to misuse the central agency against Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, but could not do so, Phadnavis alleged.
In the Adarsh Housing society scam, at least 10 ministers of Congress and NCP are involved but the CBI is not investigating in a proper way, he further alleged.
Phadnavis was on a tour of Chiplun and Guhagar in Ratnagiri district to discuss election strategy with local leaders.
