Union Chemicals and Fertilizer Minister Anant Kumar described the Congress here today as an "opportunist" party which conspires to promote "individualism and corruption" and termed the BJP as a "nationalist" party.
"Normally, there are four types of ideologies in the world, namely nationalist, communist, socialist as well as opportunist. Accordingly, the BJP is a nationalist party and the Congress an opportunist party," he said, addressing a seminar organised at the Madhya Pradesh BJP office on the occasion of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya's birth centenary celebration.
"BJP is nationalist and for it, the nation is supreme, while communism gets converted into separatism, extremism and violence, ultimately resulting in clashes," he said.
"The Congress is opportunist and conspires to promote individualism, corruption and degradation of democracy, which is there for everyone to see," he said.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is inspired by good governance as well as Ekatma Manavwad (integral humanism) and he has praised Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for implementing the concept.
Speaking on the occasion, the MP CM said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya's concept of integral humanism is the greatest gift to the world.
