Congress's Anita Jagtap elected president of Shirdi council

Congress candidate Anita Vijay Jagtap was today declared elected unopposed as the president of Shirdi Municipal Council, after BJP's Rajendra Gondkar and two other candidates of Congress pulled out.
Rajendra Gondkar and two other Congress candidates Savita Kote and P Gondkar withdrew their nominations, official sources said.
Jagtap had backing of alliance of Shiv Sena, BJP and NCP too.
