The producers are yet to find a director for the sequel as James Wan is not returning for the second movie.
The release date for the movie has been announced by New Line and Warner Bros and no other movies are on that date at this point, according to the Hollywood reporter.
'Conjuring' revolves around a family terrorised by a supernatural power and two paranormal investigators' attempt to help them.
Release dates have also been announced for 'Mean Moms'. Based on the book "Queen Bee Moms & Kingpin Dads", the film will release on May 8, 2015 and 'How to Be Single', a rom-com will be releasing on February 12, 2016.
