CMT officially announced on Friday that it was bringing back the country music drama for a fifth season, weeks after ABC cancelled the show, reported Entertainment Tonight.
"Look, that was an example of fans being really enthusiastic and we really owe that all to the fans. The same with 'Friday Night Lights' and 'Nashville' is experiencing the same good fortune," Britton said.
The 49-year-old actress starred as Rayna Jaymes on the show andis still unaware of the storyline for the fifth season.
