Constable suspended, Home Guard sacked for negligence in duty

A police constable has been suspended and a Home Guard removed from service for alleged misconduct and dereliction of duty.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner C V Anand issued the orders against constable Bichaiah and Home Guard Raja Rao for negligence in duty.
On February 5, both the security personnel, who were on night duty, found three persons playing cards.
But, instead of bringing them to the police station, Bichaiah and Rao allegedly collected Rs 30,000 from them and even threatened them, a release from Cyberabad police said.
