The incident took place yesterday in Kolshet locality at the under construction complex of the Wadhwa Group, API VS Dalvi of the Kapurbawdi police station told PTI.
Police have booked three persons--Chandrashekar Srinivas, Sanjay Gaware and Nikesh Shah--from the construction site in connection with the accident under sections 304-A, 336, 338 rw 34 and 287 of the IPC.
However, no arrests have been made so far, he said.
The TMC Disaster Management Cell Chief Santosh Kadam, who rushed to the scene along with the team of firemen upon getting to know about the accident said the dead worker has been identified as Vilaskumar Yadav (23).
