"Yes, we visited the RSS and as a diplomat I should know more about the country where I am posted," the French diplomat said, talking to reporters here after the visit.
He offered floral tributes to RSS founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar and second RSS chief Madhav Sadashiv Golwalkar at their memorials.
"We talked about global climate since Paris is hosting a world summit next December on the subject," the diplomat said after meeting RSS leaders Dilip Gupta and former Mayor Anil Sole.
He also showed keen interest in the proposed Metro Rail project and said that France has the best metro railways in the world.
Earlier in the day, a French team visited Mihan and met representatives of the Vidarbha Industries Association (VIA) earlier in the day, accompanied by a delegation and representatives from the Chamber of Commerce.
