Contraband worth Rs 20 crore and foreign currencies seized

Acting on a tip-off, customs sleuths raided a general coach of the Delhi-bound Seemanchal Express last night and seized a box containing 3.5 kg heroin, ganja and bhang, besides currencies of Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Madagascar, the Assistant Commissioner (Customs) Jyotiraditya said.

No arrest has been made in this connection as no passenger came forward to claim these items, Jyotiraditya said.

Further investigation was on, he said.
