Contractor firm employee shot at

An employee of a
contractor firm was shot at and injured by three unidentified persons near Plastic Park project site here today, police said.
The injured identified as Jitendra Pradhan was admitted to a hospital in Cuttack.
Before being taken to hospital, Pradhan said three persons came to the construction site near at about 1 PM on a bike and asked who is in charge of this site.
"When I told them that the site belongs to Gangadhar Jena, a contractor of Gannon Dunkerley Co Ltd, they threw three bombs at the machinery. They then fired two rounds in the air and asked us to stop work," he said.

They also allegedly thrashed Pradhan and fired at Pradhan, police said.
Police started an investigation into the incident.
