Cooper Corp launches Ecopack gensets in Kerala

Cooper Corporation Private Ltd, manufacturers of different types of gensets and engines, today launched its low fuel consumption Ecopack gensets in the Kerala market, targetting to sell 300 units this fiscal.
This is the first launch of the Ecopack gensets, which complies with the European Emission norms, in the Southern Indian market, Rajesh S Walke, General Manager (Engine Business), told reporters here.
Cooper has already launched the gensets in Lucknow and Indore besides Kochi and plans to first make their presence in small towns and rural areas. Nationally, the company was looking at selling 5,000 gensets this year and a 12-15 per cent market share.

ISB joins hand with NSE to set up unique "trading lab" * Indian School of Businesses (ISB) in association with the National Stock Exchange (NSE) has set up a "trading laboratory" at its campus here.
The lab aims at offering a professional real time live trading experience with 34 terminals, to the students besides taking up research on developing markets.
"Academia and industry have operated in two independent and almost mutually exclusive spheres in India, especially in the sphere of finance and capital market. This has deprived students of opportunities to learn in an environment that combines real world applications with conceptual rigour," ISB Dean Ajit Rangnekar said in Hyderabad.

Federal Bank Launches Vidya Gold
* Kerala Headquartered Federal Bank has launched a new gold loan product-- Vidya Gold,to support students and their parents to meet educational expenses when the schools re-open.
The product is ideal for meeting school admission and related expenses of students from LKG level to Higher Secondary, a bank press release said today.
Being a loan that serves a social cause, the bank offers this product at 200 basis points lower than normal gold loan products ie. An interest rate as low as Rs 99ps/Rs 100 per month, it said.

Dabur enters confectionery category with Hajmola Chuzkara * FMCG firm, Dabur today entry into the fast growing confectionery category with launch of Hajmola Chuzkara, a semi-liquid candy.
Hajmola Chuzkara, which will be rolled out nationwide this month, will be endorsed by Bollywood cine star Ajay Devgn, the company said in a statement.
Announcing the launch, Dabur India Category Head -Digestives Ajay Parihar said: "Hajmola Chuzkara is the latest example of Dabur's continued focus on innovation to drive strong growth. The product, with its amazing taste and bold communication, would stand out in the confectionery category."
Hajmola Chuzkara is priced at Rs 2 per sachet.
