Traders said, besides pick up in demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market, firm trend overseas kept copper prices higher.
Globally, copper for delivery in three months jumped 3.5 per cent to USD 5,601 per tonne at the London Metal Exchange.
In the national capital, copper mixed rose by Rs 2 to Rs 366 per kg.
