Copra Kozhikode gains on better demand

Copra Alapuzha declined further on subdued retail offtake.

Copra office Kozhikode went up by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 4,350 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 4,300.

However, copra office Alapuzha eased by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 4,350 as against Rs 4,300 previously.

The following are today's closing rates in rupees with previous rates in brackets:

Black pepper (per kg) 410/440 (410/440), ginger bleached (per kg) 90 (90), ginger unbleached (per kg) 105 (105), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 4,350 (4,400), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 4,350 (4,300), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 6,900 (6,900) and copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 5,650 (5,650).
