Copra rajapur drops on subdued demand

Copra rajapur Mumbai dropped further in an otherwise mute spices market here today on subdued demand from stockists and retailers on the back of good supplies.
Meanwhile, rest of the spices ruled stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
Copra rajapur mumbai fell by Rs 300 per quintal to Rs 18,500 from wednesday's closing level of Rs 18,800.
Following are today's closing rates in Rs with previous rates in brackets:
Black pepper (per kg) 680/750 (680/750), ginger bleached (per kg) 180 (180), ginger unbleached (per kg) 200 (200), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 10,000 (10,000), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 9.900 (9,900), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 18,800 (18,500), Copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 12,900 (12,900).
