Elsewhere, black pepper continued to gain further owing to sustained demand from stockists and traders.
However, copra office Kozhikode and copra edible prices declined following subdued demand from stockists and retailers.
Other spices ruled stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying.
Copra Rajapur climbed by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 18,000 from Monday's closing level of Rs 17,800.
Black pepper surged by Rs 10/15 per kg to Rs 715/790 as against Rs 705/775 previously.
