Copra spurts on heavy demand

Copra Rajapur, Copra edible, copra office Alapuzha and copra Kozhikode prices spurted at the Spices market here today on heavy stockists and retail demand.
Meanwhile, black pepper, ginger bleached and ginger unbleached rates were unavailable, as market remained closed today.
Copra Rajapur surged by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 8,800 from Monday's closing level of Rs 8,600.
Copra edible advanced by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 8,100 as against Rs 8,000 previously.
Copra office Alapuzha, copra office Kozhikode moved-up by Rs 50 per quintal each to Rs 7,100 and Rs 7,000 as compared to 7,050 and 6,950 yesterday.
