Coriander prices fell by Rs 60 at Rs 6,091 per quintal in futures trade on Tuesday as speculators reduced their positions amid sluggish demand in spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, coriander contracts for November fell by Rs 60, or 0.98 per cent, to Rs 6,091 a quintal in 15,680 lots.

Similarly, coriander contracts for December delivery declined by Rs 42, or 0.68 per cent, to Rs 6,156 per quintal in 2,110 lots.

Market analysts said subdued demand by speculators in spot market led to the decline in coriander future prices.
