Corporators protest against bull menace

Corporators of Gorakhpur Municipal corporation protested against the menace of stray animals, especially bulls, on the city road during a meeting of the body here.
Alleging that the municipal corporation was not doing to control the menace, which had led to some causalities, the corporators lodged a strong protest in the meeting yesterday.
They complained that the municipal corporation had not done enough to catch the stray animals nor launched any drive.
Mayor Satya Pandey, however, said that the corporation was alert and doing the needful but the corporators were agitated.
Municipal Commissioner Rajesh Kumar Tyagi said that there were some problems in catching the bulls, besides there was no proper place to keep them.
