Market players said weakening trend in spot market due to mounting stocks amid limited buying by animal feed makers kept cottonseed oil cake prices weak for the second straight day.
At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, cottonseed oil cake delivery for March contracts declined further by Rs 17.50, or 1.05 per cent, to Rs 1,643.50 per quintal, depicting an open interest of 1,47,760 lots.
Likewise, the commodity for delivery in February contracts fell by Rs 14.50, or 0.86 per cent, to Rs 1,665 per quintal with an open interest of 33,740 lots.
