At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, cottonseed oil cake to be delivered in August fell by Rs 11 or 0.63 per cent to Rs 1,741 per quintal, with an open interest of 64,630 lots.
Also, delivery in July eased by Rs 9 or 0.51 per cent to Rs 1,743 per quintal, in an open interest of 98,590 lots.
Marketmen said cutting down of positions by participants coupled with a weak trend at the spot markets on higher supplies, mainly attributed fall in cottonseed oilcake prices in futures trade.
