Cottonseed oil moves up on scattered buying

Barring a rise in cottonseed oil prices on scattered buying, other edible and non-edible oils held steady at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today.
Traders said some buying support from retailers mainly led to rise in cottonseed oil prices.
In the national capital, cottonseed mill delivery (Gujarat) oil rose by Rs 25 to Rs 6,425 per quintal.
Following are today's quotations per quintal:
Oilseeds: Mustardseed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,120-1,340.

Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 7,500, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 1,900-1,950, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 7,400, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,290-1,370, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,375-1,475, Sunflower 6,300, Sesame Mill Delivery 9,300, Soybean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 7,600, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) 7,400, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 5,750, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 6,425, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 7,000, Palmolein (Kandla) 6,650, Rice Bran (phy) 3,800 and Coconut (per tin)2,000-2,050.

Non-edible oils: Linseed 7,450, Mahuwa 4,000, Castor 9,450-9,550, Neem 5,300-5,400, Rice Bran 3,150-3,250 and Palm Fatty 3,200-3,300.
Oilcakes: Groundnut Dehusk 800-850, Sesame 950-1,150, Mustard (New) 1,000-1,025, Mustard 1,200-1,210 and Cottonseed 1,075-1,175.
