Marketmen said a firm trend at the domestic spot markets on restricted arrivals against strong demand, mainly supported the upside in cottonseed oilcake prices at futures trade here.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oilcake for delivery in February advanced by Rs 12, or 0.53 per cent, to Rs 2,266 per quintal, in a business turnover of 31,840 open lots.
In a similar fashion, the most-active, delivery in March was trading higher by Rs 10, or 0.44 per cent, to Rs 2,298 per quintal, with an open interest of 89,180 lots.
