"We could not cover 100 per cent booths in our campaign because of terror unleashed by the ruling TMC, but we expect people to participate in the Brigade rally from everywhere," Bose told reporters here.
Stating that all their party offices were not in a position to function because of state-sponsored terror and in many cases, Bose said workers could not even open offices at many places.
Despite all these, the veteran CPI(M) leader believed that they would be able to assemble around 10 lakh party workers and supporters at the Brigade on December 27, which he hoped would have representation from all districts.
The December 27 Brigade rally would be followed by the party plenum and would continue till December 31, he said, adding, the party's Central Committee and Politburo meetings would be held on December 26.

Meanwhile, veteran CPI leader Gurudas Dasgupta said that he had expected the Trinamool Congress to act more "responsibly" after winning the Assembly elections in such a massive manner and not to indulge in post-poll violence which continued to take place across the state.
A team of CPI-M leaders today visited Kolkata Police headquaters at Lalbazar and met CP Rajeev Kumar and submitted a letter asking to take prompt action against post-poll violence in the city.
