Couple along with their infant die in roof collapse

A couple along with their ten- month-old girl child died in Gadag in north Karnataka region today as the roof of their house came crashing on them while they were asleep.
The diseased have been identified as Mahentesha Ningappa Kendoora (28), Mala Mahentesha Kendoora (24) and their child Bhavana, police said.
Mahantesh had spread a tractor load of mud on the roof of his house, as the roof was leaking. It was suspected that the roof had no strength to carry the weight of the mud and collapsed.
