Couple commit suicide in TN

A couple, married for 15 years, allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison at a hotel here, police said today.
43-year-old Pandian and his wife Chitra (38) of Pudukottai district were found dead when the hotel staff broke open the room's door past midnight yesterday after it remained locked from inside since 6 pm, police said.
Pandian, owner of a jewel shop in Pudukottai, and his wife were frustrated as they did not have a child and ended their lives by consuming poison, police said.
