Couple commits suicide in Ajmer

An elderly couple allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a well near their house in Ajmer city of Rajasthan, police said.
The deceased, identified as Usha Devi (58) and her husband Badri Prasad (60), took the extreme step yesterday, Ramganj Station House Officer Bhupendra said today.
The couple left a suicide note mentioning that they were in stress for some time following the accidental death of their son recently and loss in business, the SHO said.
The body of the woman was taken out of the well last night while that of her husband was recovered today and sent for post-mortem, he added.
