A couple from Nepal, working as domestic helps at a house in Sarabha Nagar here were found dead today, in what is suspected to be due to asphyxiation.
Mon Singh Rawal and Sambha Devi, from Nepal, were found dead in their quarter inside the kothi today, police said.
The couple had lit up an Indian earthen coal oven in their room to keep themselves warm. Gas emanating from the oven is suspected to have caused asphyxiation leading to their death, police said.
Their bodies have been sent for post mortem, they said.
