Additional District Judge D N Ray of Bankura fast track court also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on convicts Mujibur Khan and Kasari Bibi, stipulating that if they fail to pay it, they would undergo an additional jail term of one year which would run concurrently.
Moloy Ghosh (35) had gone missing last year in January and his brother Nirmal lodged a complaint with the police on January 8, 2016.
During investigation it was found that Ghosh owed the couple Rs 30,000 and the couple killed him for his failure to pay them back.
